Roma Ryan’s lyric is built around the phrase “the day is a wild child,” a song about embracing positivity and finding moments for yourself on difficult days. Enya has said it was moving to sing the words once Roma finished them. She performed the song at the 2001 Japan Gold Disc Award after winning Best International Pop Album of the Year for A Day Without Rain, the best-selling new-age album in history.
