Closing out Manoeuvres, this orchestrated ballad has been described as a dramatic finale to the record, with a notable guitar contribution from Gary Moore set against Greg Lake‘s vocal. ProgArchives calls it an atmospheric piece in the vein of the album’s other slower numbers. Manoeuvres turned out to be Lake’s final solo studio album, released without any accompanying tour or significant promotion, after which he moved on to a brief stint with the band Asia.
